Ural supplies trucks for Mexican Navy

The Russian automobile manufacturing plant Ural has shipped 52 automobiles to the Mexican Navy, the press service of the enterprise reported. The automobiles will be delivered to Mexico in July 2004. According to the contract, made by the Russian arms agency Rosoboronexport and the Mexican Defense Ministry, Ural is to supply 50 Ural-4320 trucks and 2 MPS-AM1 special automobiles for making automobile repair under field conditions.

According to representatives of the Russian company, the automobiles are planned to be used to render assistance to people that suffer natural calamities on the coasts of the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico and in high mountainous areas.
