Russia expels Slovak diplomat
A Slovak diplomat, whose name has not been released, has been named persona non grata and must leave Russia within 72 hours, according to the Slovak section of the Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry.
As reported by a Rosbalt correspondent, the reason for the expulsion is not clear. The Foreign Affairs Ministry has said it acted to revoke the official's credentials 'for actions not consistent with diplomatic status.' This formulation signifies that the diplomat's actions 'contradicted the interests of the Russian Federation.'
