Vladimir Katrenko, Senior Deputy Chairman of the United Russia faction in the State Duma, does not rule out that some heads of natural monopoly companies could be replaced, he told reporters today. He noted that this could happen after presidential elections. In his opinion, any dramatic changes in structure of natural monopolies are unlikely. At the same rime, Katrenko said it was necessary to step up reforms in the electricity and railroad sectors. According to him, the government should also pay more attention to the coal industry.
As for the leadership of the Central Bank of Russia, "its replacement is not discussed, but a change in relations is possible", Katrenko believes.
He does not exclude the possibility that a Deputy Prime Minister will oversee the work of the government.
