Russian President Vladimir Putin named two reasons for his decision to dismiss the government. The reasons are political as well as administrative and organizational, he declared at a meeting with the dismissed Cabinet members in the House of the Russian Government today. "The situation that is happening now, is actually a routine thing. The question is why this was done and if it was necessary three weeks before the elections or not. I have two reasons here. Political and administrative and organizational reasons," the President mentioned.
"In my situation, when I am the President and at the same time a presidential candidate, I can, which means I must introduce a new person whom I will propose as the Prime Minister to the public," Putin stressed.
