Gazprom not to cut gas supplies to Transnistria
Gazprom supplies to Moldova's breakaway republic of Transnistria will amount to 815m cubic meters of natural gas in 2004, which corresponds to the amount delivered last year. According to a contract signed between the Russian gas holding and Moldova-gaz, the gas price will remain unchanged at $80 per 1,000 cubic meters, the Industry Ministry of Transnistria reported to RBC. Representatives of the ministry declared that gas prices would not be raised in the region.
