85% of Russians approve of the way President Vladimir Putin is running the country, according to a ROMIR Monitoring survey. In regard to Putin's greatest feat in his first term in office, 31% of respondents said that his greatest feat was to solve delays in workers' pay and pensions, 26% said it was improving the economy, 16% said Putin's greatest feat was his successful handling of the Chechen War and 12-13% said it was his battle with corruption and reducing the influence of the oligarchs. Fewer respondents mentioned the health problem, ecology, housing and organized crime. 1630 people participated in the survey.
