Gazprom raises gas supplies through Blue Stream pipeline
Gazprom has supplied 1bn cubic meters of gas to Turkey through the Blue Stream pipeline, which is 200m cubic meters more than the earlier planned volume, the press service of the gas holding reported.
On December 13 Turkey asked Gazprom to increase gas supplies through the pipeline from 5.3m cubic meters per day to 20m cubic meters per day. In 2003 some 1.1bn cubic meters of gas are to be pumped to Turkey through this pipeline. In 2004 gas exports to Turkey are to grow to 4bn cubic meters.
