National Bolshevik Party (NBP) leader Eduard Limonov was not among the detained party activists who were brought to the Khamovniki interior department, deputy head of the Moscow NBP branch Roman Popkov told RIA Novosti on Thursday.
"Eduard Limonov is at the present time in the NBP headquarters: 7, Vtoraya Frunzenskaya Ulitsa," he said.
Altogether twenty-two people were detained and brought to the Khamovniki district interior department. The head of the Moscow NBP branch, Dmitry Bakhur, and also two Ukrainian TV journalists were among the detained.
Popkov said that twenty people had remained in the Khamovniki interior departament, because he and another two activists were released.
In the Limonov party's printing shop in Vtoraya Frunzenskaya Ulitsa a militiaman on duty "conducted an ordinary check of passports," the Moscow Main Interior Department told RIA Novosti.
On the day of the parliamentary elections on December 7, several NBP members were detained. The first group was detained after one of the activists threw an egg into Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov at the polling station. The other group was detained for the calls to boycott the elections.
