The Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) will take a decision on the nomination of its candidate for the Presidency, Communist leader Gennady Zyuganov told journalists on Wednesday.
"This responsible decision will be taken collectively after the gathering of the presidium of the CPRF Central Committee," Zyuganov said. According to him, the CPRF Central Committee will discuss this issue in the near future.
Zyuganov considers himself "the second popular politician among future presidential nominees".
The presidential elections are scheduled for March 14, 2004.
