Vladimir Putin is satisfied with the preliminary results of his visit to Thailand.
The business part of the visit is already over, although the visit is still going on, the Russian president told journalists after an excursion to Thailand's national museum.
"The visit was scheduled a long time ago, and we decided to combine it with arrangements within the framework of APEC. Personally, I don't regret it. Yesterday we had routine meetings and good talks," the Russian head of state said.
"We have reached agreement to develop relations, first of all in the economic sphere, of course. The Thai party is interested in cooperation in different spheres, and we are content with it," Putin remarked.
The president is sure that Russia and Thailand are able to develop relations positively.
"This concerns traditional spheres of cooperation, regardless of difficulties, I mean Russia's limited supplies of metal products to Thailand," the president said.
"We have also negotiated on military-space cooperation. I hope we shall manage to carry out a number of projects in this promising sector," Vladimir Putin underlined.
