A delegation from China's Hailongjiang Province will arrive in Kaliningrad tomorrow to officially establish trade and economic relations. The Kaliningrad Region press service told Rosbalt that the delegation will include approximately 20 representatives and businesspeople, who will be concluding a business trip across Russia. Over the course of two days, they will become acquainted with the Kaliningrad free trade zone and outline perspectives of bilateral cooperation.
The visit will include a meeting with Vice Governor Mikhail Tsikel, who directs the free trade zone administration, representatives of Kaliningrad business, stops to local businesses and also cultural and historical sites of Kaliningrad. A protocol on the intentions and agreements of trade and economic cooperation between Kaliningrad Region and Heilongjiang Province will be signed.
In March 2003 a delegation from Heilongjiang Province visited Kaliningrad to look at the possibility of establishing production in the Kaliningrad free trade zone and further advancement of trade goods to Europe.
