69% of Russians intend to vote for Vladimir Putin in presidential elections

69% of Russians intend to vote for Vladimir Putin in the upcoming presidential elections. This was the result of a survey carried out by the Agency for Regional Political Research. Moreover, when asked the question 'Who would you vote for if the presidential elections were held next Sunday?' 18% said they were not sure. Only 6% said they would vote for Gennady Zyuganov and a mere 3% said they would vote for Vladimir Zhirinovsky.

The survey was carried out between August 25 and 31 in over 76 different towns and villages in 32 different regions of the Russian Federation. 1500 respondents took part in total.
