The volume of the Belarussian export to Russia in the first half of 2003 amounted to over $2.1 billion.
In the specified period the country increased its export to Russia, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands and Poland, the Belarussian Embassy to Russia reported.
Thus, it exported to Great Britain goods worth $484 million, to Germany worth $212 million /a 28-percent growth as compared to the same period in 2002/.
At the same time Belarussian exports were lower to such countries as Lithuania, Latvia and China, though these countries account for a significant share in the Belarussian trade volume, the embassy pointed out.
