As of July 1, 2003, the consolidated credit portfolio of Rosbank reached $1.25bn which is 25% higher against the beginning of 2003 when it was reported as equal to some $1bn, the press service of the bank told RBC.
41% of the credit portfolio went to industrial enterprises in the first half of 2003. In addition, the bank was actively crediting trading companies (9%), energy companies (5%), construction enterprises (3%) and others. Following positive tendencies on the securities market, Rosbank intensified its activities with financial institutions (5%). The share of credits allocated to regional and municipal administrations of the Russian Federation accounted for 18% as of July 1, 2003.
