Limonov was found guilty of organising illicit arms and ammo acquisition by his party activists and sentenced to four years in prison.
The Engels court has complied with the side for defence, which indicated, among other things, that Limonov has been convicted for the first time, has got elderly parents dependent on him and is an internationally recognized writer. Limonov's parole has become possible due to his having already served half of the term under the sentence.
