Government to review implementation of electrical power industry reform

The Russian government will review the course of the reform in the electrical power industry and the main aspects of its further implementation in 2003-2005 at a meeting on June 19, 2003, which will be presided over by Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov. First Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister Andrey Sharonov will make a report on this issue.

The Government Information Department reported that the Cabinet would also consider ways to improve the insurance system in the agrarian industry, a federal bill on state registration of aircraft ownership rights, a federal bill on reassigning land plots of a specific category to a different category, and the allocation of subsidies to be paid from the fund of regional financial reforms in accordance with the Federal Law on the Federal Budget for 2003.
