A Polish national exhibit opens in St. Petersburg on June 16, according to the Polish General Consulate in St. Petersburg. The main goal of the exhibit is to acquaint members of the Russian business community with the wide range of Polish trade goods and services in the areas of automobiles and equipment, new technology, construction materials, food industry, food products, light industry, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. Moreover, a fashion show, tasting and other activities will be organized at the exhibit. More than 100 Polish companies will participate in the exhibit.
In addition, the Polish chamber of agriculture will present the city of St. Petersburg with several stands. One will be presented to the city committee for external relations. Another will be presented to the St. Petersburg chamber of trade and industry.
The exhibit is part of the Polish program for celebrating the city's 300th anniversary. The exhibit will run through June 19 at the St. Petersburg sports and concert complex under the auspices of the Polish Ministry of Economics, Labour and Social Politics.
