The fund of the charity motor race "Towards St.Petersburg's 300th Anniversary" is refilled by money earned in auctions selling things that belonged to the participants of the vintage car race.
Besides sponsor contributions in some Russian cities on the way from Yekaterinburg to Moscow, the race participants sold their things in auctions, British Prince Michael of Kent, who heads the charity action, said at a press conference on Friday. The Prince himself sold his helmet and automobile glasses at a high price.
The money collected during the motor race will be distributed in the beginning of June after the race finishes in St.Petersburg, he said.
