Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in the CIS informal summit and Russia-EU summit in St. Petersburg.
May 30th will see a breakfast on behalf of the Russian President for the CIS heads, Deputy Head of the Kremlin administration Sergey Prikhodko has informed RIA Novosti.
At the informal meeting the CIS heads are expected to discuss current issues of the CIS cooperation.
The Russia-EU summit is scheduled to take place in Russia's Northern capital on May 31st.
According to Mr. Prikhodko, among its participants will be heads of states and governments from 15 EU member-states, Chairman of the EU Commission Romano Prodi, Secretary General of the EU Council Javier Solana as well as leaders of 10 countries joining the EU.
"Although all leaders of G8 will arrive in St. Petersburg, there are no official meetings between them on the agenda," the source in the Russian delegation told RIA Novosti.
Besides, the Russian President intends to have a conversation with the US President and meet the Japanese Prime Minister.
