Severstal and GAZ to develop cooperation

Severstal and GAZ have decided to prepare a comprehensive program on cooperation at a meeting of their coordinative council, the press service of Severstal has reported.

According to Severstal Sales Director Dmitry Goroshkov, the automobile manufacturer GAZ is among the five largest consumers of Severstal's rolled metal on the domestic market. At present, the company supplies some 14,000 tons per month to GAZ.

The main question discussed at the meeting of the coordinative council was the technical specifications of rolled metal supplied to GAZ, because one of the main current tasks for the automobile producer is to decrease the weight of its automobiles
