2.5 thousand journalists to report on St. Petersburg anniversary celebrations

2.5 thousand journalists from different countries will provide coverage of the international events involved in the city's anniversary celebrations. As a Rosbalt correspondent reports, this was announced by Presidential Plenipotentiary in the North-West Federal District Valentina Matvienko at a press conference yesterday. She added that a modern press centre has been opened in the Pribaltiskaya hotel, which will provide journalists with the unique opportunity 'to see and hear about everything that is happening in the city.'

900 people have also been registered with the International Press Centre and will also have the chance the follow the most important events on May 30-31.
