Russian Agriculture Minister Alexei Gordeyev is travelling to Mongolia on an official visit today, where he will take part at the tenth meeting of the Russian-Mongolian Trade and Technology Committee. As the government press office announced yesterday, the committee will discuss issues relating to trade and financial collaboration as well as cooperation in the areas of energy, food and agriculture and transport. They will also discuss the activity of joint Russian-Mongolian enterprises and the development of cooperation in the regions and along the borders. Finally the two sides will hold talks about Mongolia's debts to the former Soviet Union and discuss Mongolian proposals about lowering the price of electricity imported from Russia.
