The only country which has no political disputes with Russia is Armenia. As a Rosbalt correspondent reports, this was announced by SPS (Union of Right Forces) Co-Chairperson Irina Hakamada while speaking to students of Yerevan university yesterday. In her opinion 'Armenia is Russia's greatest ally although economic ties are the weakest. Economic ties between the two countries are still not as strong as political ones,' Ms Hakamada stressed. She believes that the development of small businesses is especially important for Armenia at the moment. 'Russia and Armenia could expand their economic ties by supporting small businesses together,' she insisted. She also pointed out that there are about 2.5 million Armenians living in Russia and most of them are involved in small business. 'The Armenian diaspora could help to bring closer ties between the two countries,' Ms Hakamada emphasised.
