A Cooperative Exchange was open in Nizhny Novgorod for local and German enterprises on May 14-15.
As a Rosbalt correspondent was informed by the press office of the regional administration, the exchange is intended for negotiations between German businessmen and representatives of over 50 local small and medium-sized businesses specialising in heavy engineering and the production of car parts. The exchange was organised by the regional department for international relations, the Nizhny Novgorod information centre and the Otto von Guericke research association.
The Otto von Guericke association supports German small and medium-sized businesses carrying out research and design work. The association consists of over 100 industrial research centres, which represent about 50 thousand small and medium-sized businesses, and more than 800 associated research centres. The association has a network of offices in 10 countries: Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Ukraine, Latvia, Uzbekistan and Russia (Moscow and Yekaterinburg).
