The assets of ALROSA, Russia's largest diamond producer, increased by 6.34 percent to 98.505bn rubles ($3.18bn) in the first quarter of 2003, compared to the fourth quarter of 2002, the Russian Federal Commission for the Securities Market said in its materials.
The increase in the reported period was mainly due to unfinished construction activities and long-term financial investments.
As reported earlier, the company's net income in 2002 was 6.474bn rubles ($208.8m).
