Gold production grows in Russia
In the first quarter of 2003 Russia's gold production increased by 11.6 percent to 22.013 tons, compared to the corresponding period of last year, the Union of Gold Producers told RBC.
As reported earlier, according to gold producers, last year gold production amounted to 170.872 tons.
