YUKOS Invites UBS Warburg as Consultant on Merger with Sibneft

The Russian oil giant YUKOS has invited the UBS Warburg bank to be a finance consultant to provide assistance in the YUKOS-Sibneft merger announced on April 22. Among other external consultants will be the Russian investment bank Trust and the international law firm LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, the YUKOS press service announced.

As reported earlier, Sibneft will invite Citigroup as an expert to estimate the merger. This choice is due to the long-lasting collaboration between the two companies, the Sibneft press service reported.
