Russian Prime Minister is Satisfied With Preliminary Results of Population Census

Chairman of the Russian government Mikhail Kasyanov is satisfied with the preliminary results of the 2002 Census of the population.

As the Prime Minister said in opening the Thursday session of the Russian government, which is discussing the preliminary results of the Census, the population of Russia tops 145 million, slightly more than was expected according to the current analysis.
