Sibneft's main stockholders own 92 percent of shares in the company, a source close to Sibneft shareholders told RBC. According to the merger provisions, YUKOS is to buy 20 percent of Sibneft for $3bn and acquire the rest in a share swap at a ratio of 0.36125 share of the new company for one Sibneft share.
Earlier it was reported that Sibneft main stockholders had 87 percent of the company, 13 percent were traded on the market, including 4 percent in ADRs.
