Ulyanovsk Car Factory to Present Simbir Model at International Exhibition in Shanghai

Ulyanovsk Car Factory will participate in the international car exhibition, which is scheduled to take place in Shanghai on April 21-27. As a Rosbalt correspondent was told at the factory's press office yesterday, The Russian delegation intends to present the new Simbir model with an engine designed by the Zavolzhsk Motor Factory.

Sales and Marketing Director Andrei Dorofeyev said 'the Chinese market is one of the most promising for us. It is even possible that negotiations will be held with potential clients at the exhibition,' he added.

Ulyanovsk Car Factory is a subsidiary of the Severstal group. The factory produces 14 different off-road models and four-wheel drive minibuses. In April the factory expects to produce 6.78 thousand vehicles and export at least 1.5 thousand vehicles abroad.
