Divers and doctors of the Russian Emergencies Ministry will learn underwater rescue techniques during the exercises in Gelendzhik (the Black Sea Coast).
As RIA Novosti learned from the Ministry's Information Department, the exercises will take place in Gelendzhik on April 3rd-12th. About 80 ministry's experts will take part in them.
During the exercises participants will dive and submerge floating means at a depth of 40 metres, assemble and cut metallic structures underwater, repair in-water pipes and train to spot wounded people and recover them.
They will also practise diving and carrying out underwater operations in accordance with safety instructions.
