The South Korean poaching schooner Manjok-21 was conveyed on Monday to the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky port (Russia's Far East).
According to deputy head of the special marine inspection Sergei Danigevich, on March 27th a South Korean Manjok-21 schooner was detained for checking by the patrol vessel of the special marine inspection in the area of the fourth Kuril Strait.
Fifty tons of pollack and 14 tons of cod concealed from calculation were found on board the schooner during the check.
The damage done by the poaching amounts to $100,000, according to preliminary estimates.
Investigation is being conducted.
