A 4.9-strong earthquake took place near the North Kuril range. RIA Novosti was told in the Kamchatka experimental-methodological seismic party that the earth tremor occurred at 01.04, local time, 150 km north-east of the Paramushir island, the North Kuril range in the Pacific.
