The Russian Foreign Ministry and the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry have signed an agreement on collaboration and coordination of activities. The document was signed by Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov and Chamber President Yevgeny Primakov. The minister pointed out that the implementation of this agreement would enable Russia to strengthen its positions on the international arena, which fully met Russia's national interests.
In his turn, Primakov declared that the signing of this agreement was an important step forward to broadening Russia's trade and economic cooperation with foreign countries, which would promote investments in the Russian economy. According to him, the implementation of this document will allow for the creation of conditions necessary for Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization.
