Arab radicals will come out the worse for it

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon conducted a session of the Security Council, which was devoted to the current outburst of terror and to the many ways of struggling with Arab terrorists. One of the major issues, which was raised several weeks ago, was the problem of the expulsion of the terrorists’ families to the Gaza Strip.

Despite the negative reaction of the world community, Israelis seem to be sure of the fact that this was the only way out for them to stop the terror. The defensive shield turned out to be useless, it couldn’t protect Jewish settlements from terrorists’ attacks, and recent events on the border between Israel and Lebanon proved that.

Therefore, there is a need for a new strategy that can change the situation fundamentally. The Spanish news agency EFE reported that Israelis had one. The Israeli security council approved of the plan, the goal of which is to counteract the actions of Palestinian suicidal terrorists. The document was approved unanimously, but its contents ar secret; it is not known at all, what the document is about.

All previous measures to prevent the penetration of suicidal terrorists into Israel turned out to be useless, as they did not provide total safety for the country. The last explosion blew up in Jerusalem on Tuesday, injuring five Israelis and killing the terrorist. The Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade claimed the responsibility for that terrorist act.
