A Tu-134 passenger jet made an emergency landing in Norilsk, Russia's trans-polar area, on Sunday.
According to the Siberian Regional Center of the Russian emergencies ministry, on board the jet /which was flying from Novosibirsk, Western Siberia/ were 69 passengers and 6 crew.
The emergency occurred during the landing approach, when the pilots found out that one of the jet's two engines had failed. Despite that, the crew managed to land the aircraft safely. No one was hurt. Officials are investigating the incident
