MICEX forward market to work until 19:00 in autumn
The Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange plans to prolong a trading session of its forward market until 19:00 at the end of September 2002, Alexander Zakharov, general director of the MICEX, declared today. He pointed out that currently the trade on the forward market finishes at 16:00, at the same time the trade on the stock market continues until 19:00.
Moreover, the MICEX plans to improve the technology of trade and to create a reserve fund on the forward market.
