Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered his condolences to Turkish Ambassador Kurtulus Taskent on the death of people during a devastating flood in the northern parts of Turkey.
Accepting credentials from newly appointed ambassadors in a Kremlin-based ceremony on Thursday, Putin asked the Turkish diplomat to convey his condolences to the Turkish leadership.
The flood in northeastern Turkey has claimed the lives of at least 16 people.
