Russian Oil Leaders

Russian companies fortify their positions in top 50 world largest corporations of heat-energetic complex. Financial scandals in America and the growing quality of of corporate management in Russia helped Russian companies to strengthen their positions in the rate of the world largest corporations of heat-energetic complex. Gazprom boosted to the 15th position from the 25th. Rating of the largest energetic companies is made by Petroleum Finance Company (PFC) Washington Consultante. According to its statistics the second quarter of 2002 can be considered as Russian. Four Russian companies greatly improved their positions. The leader of this rating is Gazprom because it turned on 10 positions up. The top 10 of the most dynamic companies involves two more Russian companies – LUKOIL and UKOS. Also Sibneft is going to enter this top 10. From the western companies great results can be seen in E.ON (+15%) andStatoil (12,6%). At the same time Exxon Mobil lost 6.6% of its market value.
