“Chinese roller” may be the reason of flood in the Seaside Region

China may be guilty of the flood that enveloped the Seaside Region. This statement was made by Seaside Governor Sergei Darkin. According to him, the natural cataclysm was caused not only by the two-day rains in the region, but also by increase of water from reservoirs situated in border regions of China. The “Chinese roller” could also reach the Seaside rivers. Chines officials, certainly, deny this fact. They offered their assistance, though the governor answered that “we are able to manage on ourselves with the cataclysm.”

In the meanwhile, according to RBC, already 520 houses and about 13 thousand hectares of agricultural soil were flooded. An situation is currently in the Oktyabrsky and Ussuriysky districts of the region. In the settlement Poltavks of Oktyzbrsky District, the frontier check point is closed. At the moment, 142 rescuers and 100 pieces of equipment work in the area. The evacuation of people is being continued.

The Seaside authorities state that the situation is under control and that an headquarter was created in the regional administration. However, we know very well how “perfectly” they can control the situation. Let us remember at least the recent June floods in the south of Russia, in the Stavropol and Krasnodar regions: dozens of victims and masses of homeless people. At that time, Putin even had to meet with the heads of the regions.
