Today President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with Vladimir Kozhin, the minister responsible for presidential affairs, in which they discussed the execution of the order on managing Russia's foreign property. According to an announcement from the President's press service, it was noted during the meeting that the maintenance of this property, which is now under the jurisdiction of the Department of Presidential Affairs, requires enormous financial resources. These resources will not be found at the expense of budget spending.
According to independent international experts, the value of Russia's foreign property which is under the control of the Department of Presidential Affairs is approximately 1.5 billion dollars. It includes property in 70 countries, of which over 800 items have already been valued by the Department.
