Gov't official comments on RAO UES restructuring

The government is ready to take into account some conceptual proposals to the bills on the restructuring of RAO UES, Andrey Sharonov, deputy economy minister, declared at a meeting of the three party working group elaborating on bills concerning the restructuring of the Russian energy sector. According to him, the government has considered 151 deputy proposals.

The deputy minister pointed out that the government "will try not to withdraw the bills before they are considered on the first reading, although, if the working group fails to find a compromise, the government will have to change the bills".

There are six documents in the government variant of the restructuring of the energy sector in Russia. Moreover, there is an alternative bill elaborated on by deputies of the State Duma.
