This year, Russia's additional foreign-debt payments may possibly amount to $350-400 million, said Vice-Premier and Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin on Tuesday.
Commenting on the considerable growth of the exchange rate of the Euro to the dollar, Alexei Kudrin said that "we shall not exceed the amount of serving our foreign debt projected in the budget." According to the Vice-Premier, every year the budget takes into consideration the growth of the Euro.
Alexei Kudrin pointed out that the government's policy with regard to the hard currency reserves in different types of currencies has not been changing in the past few years.
