Russian-Korean friendship train leaves Vladivostok for St. Petersburg

A Russian-Korean Friendship Train is just leaving Vladivostok, Russia's Far East for St. Petersburg.

Along the 11,000-kilometer route to St. Petersburg, more than 300 Russian and Korean politicians, businessmen, scientists, and cultural workers on board the train will stop over in Khabarovsk, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, and Moscow. Each of these cities will host seminars, round-table discussions, presentations of Korean goods, screenings of national films, and photo exhibitions.

A Friendship Train Korean delegation headed by South Korea's deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Kim Kang Khun arrived in Vladivostok yesterday. On the same day, Vladivostok hosted a presentation of the Primorye territory and a Korean goods exhibition called Planet LG, all within the Friendship Train program.
