One more victim of the flood in the south of Russia has been ascertained, the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported on Friday. So, the death toll of the natural calamity has increased to 105.
The volume of destruction and damage in the regions affected by the freshet is being estimated. According to the data as of the morning on Friday, 18.9 per cent of the damaged houses have been restored. As many as 87 per cent of the power-transmission lines have been restored, and electricity is now supplied to 292 out of the 300 populated areas which remained without it as a result of the flood. As many as 70 per cent of the water conduits, 74 per cent of the water intakes and 41 per cent of the wells, damaged by the elements, are in operation now.
More than 89,500 out of the 105,000 people evacuated during the flood have returned home.
