Parade of Military Machinery Took Place at Russian Expo Arms - 2002 Exhibition

According to the Department of Information of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, a parade of military machinery took place today at the Russian Expo Arms - 2002 exhibition near Nizhny Tagil. It was headed by the legendary WW2 Russian T-34 tanks followed by their contemporary counterparts, T-72, T-90, and T-90s tanks, engineering machinery, and S-300, S-300V, and Smerch [Wirlwind] missile systems. Represented were products output by over 20 Russian companies.

An unfortunate accident occurred in the afternoon. While Grad [Hail] packet rocket launches were fired, Evgeny Boyarsky, an employee of the Uralvagonzavod company, was seriously wounded by a fragment.
