Today, in St. Petersburg a French-Russian seminar entitled Transportation Infrastructures and By-Technologies. According to the Committee for Economic Development, Industrial Policies, and Trade of the administration of St. Petersburg, the event is organised by the Ministries of Transportation, of Railroads of Russia, and the said St. Petersburg's committee. The seminar aims at allowing Russian and French professionals to exchange their experiences.
Staff members of the French Ministry of Infrastructure, Transportation, Housing, Tourism, and Marine Affairs will talk about their experience developing seaports. Their Russian colleagues will, in turn, relate their latest experience as to the development of the Seaport of St. Petersburg.
Expected to talk at the seminar are Gilles de Robien, the Minister of Infrastructures and Transportation of France; Alexander Kelchevsky, Consul General of France in St. Petersburg; and Sergei Vetlugin, Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development, Industrial Policies, and Trade of the administration of St. Petersburg.
Yegor Ratnikov, Director of the state-owned company engaged in the construction of the road around St. Petersburg, will contribute his report on this endeavour.
