SUAL-Holding to invest over $500m in development of its branches

The total cost of investment projects of SUAL-Holding (the Siberian-Urals Aluminum Company) aimed at developing the company's branches and subsidiaries is estimated at more than $500 million, Viktor Vekselberg, Head of the holding, reported at the "Investment Plans of SUAL Group and TNK" conference. In particular, the Head of the holding was quoted as saying that the company is planning to spend $460 million on updating the Irkutsk Aluminum Plant, which is included in the group, $32 million - on updating the foil milling production facilities of the Mikhailovsk Non-Ferrous Metal Processing Plant, $8 million - on updating the Urals Aluminum Plant, $8 million - on the construction of the Novokalinsk mine of Sevuralboksitruda, $5 million - on updating the rolling mill of the Kamensk-Urals Metal Plant and $4 million - on the program aimed at improving the product quality at all branches and subsidiaries of the group.
