Vladimir Putin greets new Russian party's constituent congress

President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation sent a message of greetings to the 200 delegates of a new Russian party's constituent congress, which opened here today. Congress delegates represent 71 Russian regions. The new party, i.e. the Russian Party of Life, has been established by the Russian environmental congress, the Russian Red Cross, the Women and National Health movement and other national public organizations.

This new party aims to drastically change the quality of Russian citizens' life and to increase their lifespan a great deal. This is perceived as its strategic goal.

In his message of greetings, President Putin noted that the new party's inception was a good sign for this country, also highlighting the assertion of civil society and the nation's spiritual revival.
