A recent poll made in Jordan shows that only 1 in 10 Jordanians feel Jordan should disconnect it's ties with Israel, considering the recent events in the Middle East, The Jordan Times published the information.
Over 65% of Jordanians said they felt that the government policy reflects their opinions at above medium level. Only about 10% said it totally does not reflect their beliefs. 1,470 Jordanians participated in the poll.
Jordan and Israel's peace is only several years old. During this time the countries have developed a cooperation, surprisingly after years of hate and animosity. Today, Israeli tourists visit Jordan, and the border between the two countries is almost 100% quiet.
Jordan is the 1st Arab neighbor to sign a peace treaty with Israel following the peace treaty between Israel and Egypt. On a personal note, I must say I hope and believe it is not the last.
